First things first, September Attendance numbers are in, and the Sophomores (78.2%) earned a narrow victory over the Freshmen (78.11%) with the Seniors (77.28%) following close behind and the Juniors (74.34%) hanging on by a thread. That means all students within the Sophomore class with 90% or higher attendance will be receiving a free El Maguey lunch!
With October comes a great time to begin addressing the factors that are causing our students to miss school. Please continue to strongly encourage your students to strive to be here on time, all day, every day.
Don't forget the district-wide challenge for September/October: the high school with the greatest improvement from September to October WINS!

Challenge: Best overall grade level attendance improvement over September (9-12).
Objective: All students in attendance daily for the month of October (on time, all day, every day).
Award: Students in the winning grade level with 90% or higher will receive a free lunch from Freddy's!
