Purpose of the Group
Student government helps promote and coordinate school activities and school spirit!
Requirements for Membership
Student Government officers are elected by their peers, whether the Student Body or Senior, Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman classes. Cabinet members are then selected by the Student Government officers.
Anticipated Group Activities
Pep Assemblies, Chick-Fil-A Fridays, Festivus, Harvest Homecoming, SnowFrost Homecoming, Cancoming (the winter Canned Food Drive), student elections, and other special events.
Meetings
Senate meetings are held once per quarter along with other volunteer/Homecoming activities. Student Government is also a co-curricular activity with a Leadership course offered Period 5.
