Purpose of the Group
National Honor Society (NHS) serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Requirements for Membership
Students are inducted each spring, usually in March, and are chosen from the student body with recommendations from the faculty. Inductees must achieve a 4.0 or higher GPA, and demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Anticipated Group Activities
Penny Drive (United Way); NHS Blood Drive; Pumpkinfest; December Service Project
Meetings
A calendar of meetings, times, and locations will be decided annually.
